Rod Betancourt is an English teacher, writer, and author of the novels The Teacher, Horror in the Church and The Nurse. He has taught in primary and secondary schools, and higher education, so you know he has experience in horror. He lives in Los Ángeles, Chile, where he is constantly fighting against the God of Procrastination so he can continue writing. He usually fails. He really enjoys not interacting with people, watching movies (he’s a failed film critic, too), attempting to become someone, and, interestingly enough, reading. Do not attempt to make sudden contact with him or violence will ensue.

As a film and geek stuff fan, he has seen more than 1,400 movies, some of them many more times then he should. The way to his heart is through Star Wars, Marvel, James Bond, Lord of the Rings, DC, Harry Potter, and the world of horror led by Stephen King y John Carpenter.
